The beginning of summer is the best period for cruise.
Baikal has awoken from the winter somnolence and its shores are blooming with the first flowers. After the ice breaks
up, the Baikal freshwater seals are often seen on the floating pieces of ice and black grayling move up into the mountain
rivers for spawning. The lake is calm, the sun is high enough and Spring reigns!

of lake Baikal - Olkhon Island. |
- Visit the Baikal north wild territories where it is impossible to travel by land, Baikalolensky and
Pribaikalsky National Parks.
- Watch Baikal freshwater seals and experience flyfishing for black grayling!
Description of the Tour:
Day 1: The tour starts at 11:00 in Irkutsk airport. 12:00 flight departure for Severobaikalsk,
the city that was founded with the construction of the Baikal-Amur Railway. Arrive Severobaikalsk at 14:00 and transfer
to the main pier. Lunch at the road cafe. Upon arrival, rendezvous with the 26 metres long diesel-powered
Yaroslavets-class charter boat. Our vessel is staffed with an English-speaking guide and four crewmembers.
15:00 cruise
departure to the south along the western shore of lake Baikal. Meals and nights aboard the Yaroslavets. (D)
Day 2/3/4: During the cruise stops will be done in different parts of lake Baikal among which there is
Hary River - grayling flyfishing, Zavorotnaya Bay - steam bath, Ledyanaya - Kedrovaya to watch seals, and Olkhon - the
biggest island on the lake. The highlight of the cruise is a special stops to observe Baikal seals which are often seen
on the floating pieces of ice at this time of the year. Full board. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Meals and night aboard the Yaroslavets as we sail overnight to the west coast fishing station (MRS) for debarkation.
Meet our guide and driver with minivan at the roadhead and drive 250 km and 4 hours to Irkutsk. Lunch en route in the
buryat village of Elantsi. Dinner and night in Irkutsk. (B, L)
